November, 04, 2024, We had the honor of attending the U.S. Independence Day celebration in Erbil, an event graced by esteemed political, social, and cultural figures, including the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region. U.S. Ambassador Alina Romanowski extended her heartfelt congratulations to the Kurdistan Region on the successful recent elections, expressing optimism for the swift formation of a government dedicated to furthering stability and development. Ambassador Romanowski underscored the enduring partnership between the United States, Kurdistan, and Iraq, reaffirming America’s unwavering commitment to supporting a stable, democratic Iraq.
